The right beer for peaceful Sundays is the beer of the same name from AND UNION: Sunday is an unfiltered Pale Ale produced by a Bavarian family brewery. The naturally cloudy beer specialty is brewed with the aroma-intensive hop varieties Chinook, Magnum, Simcoe and Summit and delights with its citrus-fresh, tangy character.
Sunday flows into the glass in a finely cloudy amber gold and crowns itself with a stately amount of airy, white foam. An enticing aroma of tangerine zest and fresh-cut meadow flowers rises from the lush crown. The Antrunk follows the olfactory first impression, flooding the mouth with a juicy wave of blood orange. A touch of pine resin adds spice to the fruity punch, while the malt provides caramel sweetness and an earthy cereal note. Toward the finish, the hops gain momentum, enriching this fine beer with a variety of citrus notes, green herbal tones and a delightful bitterness.
