The coveted, sun-ripened noble fruit variety gives our mirabelle brandy its fruity taste. This inspires the Schwechower fruit brandy Mirabelle with a particularly velvety and level aroma.
The mirabelle plum is cultivated as a fruit in Central and Southern Europe as well as North Africa. In Central Europe, the main cultivation areas are in Lorraine, on the Middle Rhine, in the Palatinate, in Mainfranken and the Black Forest. From here and from our own cultivation in Mecklenburg also come our fruits, which are harvested in August.
Our fruit brandies undergo a gentle, intensive maceration process in the distillation cycle. The resulting fruit mash, from the fermented fruit, is then distilled in the still and finally - in the column, the 3 bell bottoms of the plant - distilled off.
Through many years of experience in the refinement of fruit and the most modern distillation technology, the Schwechow fruit brandy reveals a delight for lovers of the finest pleasures.

Schwechow fruit distillery
Schwechow Manor is a historic estate built in 1229, which today houses the Schwechow Fruit Distillery. The distillery produces fine fruit brandies, spirits, liqueurs and gin and is located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Elbe Valley Nature Park. The distillery originally dates back to the 18th century. Today, high-quality spirits are produced here under the motto "Preserve tradition, shape the future", including many in limited editions. Our fruit brandies, spirits and liqueurs are made from the best and most aromatic fruit. The estate's lovingly restored former pigeon house houses Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's first fruit capper distillery. Our high-quality Platinum products in mouth-blown glass decanters round off our premium range.
