The production, flavor recipe as well as individual botanicals of our The Calla 16 Premium Dry Gin are top secret. But we can tell you this much: We know our distillates! Thus, the multi-faceted, characteristically spicy and at the same time citrus-fresh taste of our The Calla 16 Premium Dry Gin is the result of decades of experience and our passion for the craft.
The 16 botanicals selected with love and care for The Calla 16 Premium Dry Gin from without exception recognized organic cultivation - including lime and orange peel, cardamom, coriander, allspice, lavender and fennel - are also distilled several times together with the neutral alcohol in a small batch process. The eponymous calla flower is also used in the process, which is why we speak of a "calla infused" gin.
We pay attention and passion to every single distillation process, every maturing process and every aroma-preserving bottling, because here, too, we leave nothing to chance. Character simply needs time, patience and a lot of experience. Thus, the maturation process of our The Calla 16 Premium Dry Gin is at least two months after its multiple distillation. Only in this valuable time the flavor tinctures can develop their full aroma in interaction. The result: an incomparably fresh and spirited, spicy New Western Dry Gin with 44% vol. alc.
