More information about Tilman's beers The wheat
A beer that purrs, scratches and bites? Only Tilman, our tamer of wild traditional beers, can create something like this.
Der Weizen" is another very special beer from Tilman's beers. This time, the creative brewer from southern Bavaria takes a close look at the classic wheat beer and puts his own stamp on it. The result is definitely something to behold - and taste!
The wheat beer is another interpretation of a classic beer style from Tilman's brewhouse. In typical Tilman fashion, he has taken a Bavarian classic and turned it upside down. The brewer has set himself the task of beating the conservative Bavarians at their own game, turning traditional beer styles into creative, exciting and flavorful works of brewing art. In his wheat beer, he combines traditional craftsmanship and creative brewing skills to create a masterpiece of hoppy flavor.
The sunny yellow-gold color of the beer comes from the use of light wheat and malt varieties. The addition of top-fermented wheat beer yeast gives the beer fruity aromas and the typical wheat beer character. But Tilman wouldn't be Tilman if his wheat beer didn't have a twist. Unlike conventional wheat beers, his version is cold-hopped and is therefore bursting with citrus-fresh fruit aromas and a white wine note that is not to be sneezed at.
Traditional or not, the wheat beer from Tilmans Biere is already a classic and is in no way inferior to its role model.
