The grapes for this special Pinotage come from a terraced vineyard in a single vineyard at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountains. The Tokara Limited Release Pinotage matured for a total of 22 months in French oak, which gives it exceptional complexity.
"In the glass, it is a dense purple with a bright ruby red rim. The aromas reveal ripe dark plums, black cherries, violets and baking spices, which harmonize perfectly with notes of fresh vanilla, dark cocoa and lightly toasted oak.
On the palate, the wine impresses with an intense fruitiness and a subtle sweetness, accompanied by a lively acidity and pleasantly full-bodied tannins.
This Pinotage is a wine with a strong character that is produced in small quantities and guarantees maximum enjoyment.
