Mustardówka is a unique drink created by Łukasz Gołębiewski, spirits expert and editor of spirits.com.pl and Aqua Vitae magazine, and Michał Płucisz, founder of Wolf & Oak Distillery.
The spirit has a delicate, pleasant taste. Fruity at first, then some tangy grain sweetness, and finally a hint of bitterness reminiscent of grape skins. The finish is nutty with light notes of black tea.
A casual spirit that is well suited for tastings as well as casual drinking. Interesting recipe, well-known Polish name, high quality. Just don't be too fooled by the product name. You don't taste much of the mustard, but it is highly recommended to serve it after a meal. And that at room temperature.
