Mustardówka is a unique drink created by Łukasz Gołębiewski, spirits expert and publisher of spirits.com.pl and Aqua Vitae magazine, and Michał Płucisz, founder of Wolf & Oak Distillery.
The spirit has a fine, pleasant taste. First fruity, then a little tangy cereal sweetness and finally a hint of bitterness reminiscent of grape skins. The finish is nutty and has light notes of black tea.
An informal spirit that is well suited to both tastings and occasional enjoyment. Interesting recipe, well-known Polish name, high quality. Just don't let the product name fool you too much. You don't taste much of the mustard, but it is highly recommended to serve it after a meal. And at room temperature.
