Our Greek mountain tea (Sideritis clandestina) grows at an altitude of around 1,000 meters and comes from carefully cultivated small stands around the mountain village of Arna, deep in the Taygetos Mountains in the south of the Peloponnese, Greece.
It is picked fresh by hand, tied into bunches and dried in the shade.
PREPARATION OF GREEK MOUNTAIN TEA:
The whole plant can be used for the preparation.Dosage: about one stem per cupBrewing time: 5 to 10 minutes
Depending on taste, the tea can be refined with a little honey and/or lemon juice.
