More information about Alto Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Alto Cabernet Sauvignon flows into the glass in a dark red and impresses with its wonderful aroma, which combines aromas of dark and red fruits. Nuances of cherries, cassis and plums pamper the senses of the connoisseur, blown by a light fynbos note. Also on the palate, the rich red wine, aged for eighteen months in French oak, presents itself extremely complex and elegant. Enjoy the refined Alto Cabernet Sauvignon therefore necessarily once pure, but it also fits perfectly with spicy or dishes with dark meat.

ALTO Wine Estate

Alto is a farm with a rich history that lives up to its status as one of the most iconic wineries in the Western Cape Winelands. The first title deeds date back to 1693, but it was not until 1919 that the farm was fully dedicated to viticulture. Alto stretches along the steep northern slopes of the Helderberg and for nearly a century has built a reputation as one of the most respected red wine producers in South Africa.
