The young Mainz-based label Schwarze Rose only started brewing beers on a large brewing system in March 2019 The beer that is already turning us into fans of the newly hatched Schwarze Rose brewery is brewed in the hallowed halls of the Kuehn Kunz Rosen brewery So far, the guys have two beers in their range that delight us with their creative, hip design as well as their subtly composed taste

Hidden behind a geometrically designed label in blue, ochre, orange, beige and white is an excellent West Coast IPA Schwarze Rose's debut work is a really well-made India Pale Ale, which, in typical West Coast style, boasts a fruity, fresh palette of juicy fruit Three American aroma hop varieties were allowed to enter the kettle, where they worked their full magic Together, Mosaic, Ekuanot and Vic Secret create an interplay of aromas of fruity excellence

Brewtiful presents itself in the sun-yellow color of ripe ears of corn and forms a white head that contrasts beautifully with the golden beer A refreshing bouquet of juicy tropical fruits rises to the nose when the bottle is opened and whets the appetite for the first sip, fruity, crisp beer that tastes wonderfully of mango, pineapple, passion fruit, melon and papaya The fruit cocktail leads to a wonderfully bitter finish that complements the tangy fruit sweetness wonderfully
