Argento Bodega

The Argento brand represents Argentina like no other. The characteristics of the wines are so intertwined with its country of origin that when you drink Argento you immediately drink Argentina. Because just as Argentines are down-to-earth, proud, sociable, lively, vibrant and spirited, one discovers these qualities in their wines as well. Each glass of Argento offers a wonderful opportunity for the experienced and inexperienced wine drinker to enjoy a slice of the Argentine way of life.

The wines are produced in the center of Argentine viticulture, the Mendoza region. Here, people are very proud of the long winemaking tradition and the unique terroir of the region. Especially the grape variety Malbec finds optimal conditions in the foothills of the Andes. Since 2004, the young winemaker Silvia Corti has been making the wines for Argento. She herself grew up in the Mendoza region and developed her passion for wine as a young child, as her family produced wine for their own consumption. After graduating as an enologist in Mendoza, she gained experience in France, among other places, before she was drawn back to her native Mendoza in 2004 and has been vinifying the wines of Argento ever since.
