Seahorses are interesting creatures The tiny sea creatures wrap their curled tails around algae, coral, cotton buds and anything else they can find If the Greek myths are to be believed, the nimble little animals are the descendants of the majestic underwater horses that once pulled Poseidon's chariots, which once pulled Poseidon's chariots The most special thing about them, however, is that it is not the females who bear the young The seahorses take the fair division of labor very seriously and instead of the ladies, the males incubate the offspring in their specially designed belly pouch Why are we telling you this? Because we would like to introduce you to our friend Jacques: a seahorse that has risen from the sea to turn your head with hoppy excellence and a decent 7.9% alcohol content

Jacques was created by the Freiburg brewing collective and is a juicy Double IPA The fresh beer was brewed in the style of a West Coast India Pale Ale and is packed to the brim with divine hops The brewers have selected a whole range of the finest C hops, varieties whose names begin with the letter C and which are characterized by their aroma density They give Jacques intense flavours, an almost sticky structure and a beguiling aroma
