The Polish brewery Browar Pinta has brewed a West Coast style Double IPA A double IPA, so to speak, which is brewed along the lines of the extremely hopped West Coast IPAs The four American aroma hop varieties Simcoe, Citra, Columbus and Falconer's Flight are not just brewed in, The four American aroma hop varieties Simcoe, Citrus, Columbus and Falconer's Flight are not only brewed, but also incorporated into the beer using a very special technique The so-called DryHopnik process extracts maximum flavor and aroma from the hop pellets Double dry hopping and a short maturation phase make the beer a fresh and highly aromatic specialty beer The aim of these efforts is to brew a crisp, bitter and beautifully dry beer that is wonderfully citrusy and full of flavor

IIPPAA flows into the glass in a cloudy golden hue and forms a white head The citrus power of this beer can be sensed as soon as the bottle is opened: Lemon, lime and grapefruit caress the olfactory nerves, a hint of pine resin underlines the fruity freshness In the first sip, the IPA is medium-bodied and initially subtly sour A citrusy cocktail of fresh, pink grapefruit and lemon juice dances on the tongue, the bitterness follows on the heels The finish is exceptionally bitter and wonderfully dry
