The name "Grapea" comes from grape & peach
The cultivation of the red vineyard peach, also known as the Mosel vineyard peach, has a long tradition in our region. Its origins can be traced back to China, where the fruit has been known as "Sing" for over 4000€ years.
During Roman times, the fruit found its way to us via Persia and Greece, together with the grapevine.
