More information about Jager Weisse
With their Jager Weissen, the brewers at Camba Bavaria have combined tradition with a good dose of modernity. The wheat beer, brewed according to a traditional recipe, is made with barley and wheat malt as well as Bavarian hop varieties. To give the classic beer a modern twist, American aroma hops are used in addition to the Bavarian varieties. The brewers extract the maximum amount of subtle hop nuances through the hop tamping process: an extra load of green gold is "stuffed" into the finished beer using the cold hopping technique. This process gives the beer its special fruitiness.
This exceptional wheat beer presents itself in a strong amber gold color in the glass and carries a stable crown of fine-pored foam on the yeast-clouded body. A refreshing nose of citrus rises up and tickles the olfactory nerves with grapefruit, mandarin and green hops. The first sip reveals a harmonious beer with a velvety mouthfeel and a character that Camba's charming beer sommelier Karin poetically describes as "full-bodied and delicate at the same time". You couldn't put it more aptly! Jager Weisse is a down-to-earth wheat beer with an exotic flair and a juicy fruitiness that is second to none. You can't get enough of this quaffable beer and we advise you to order a few more bottles.
Just the thing for an acute thirst for beer!
