Champagne Gaston Collard in Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims has its vineyards in one of 17 Grand Cru areas in Champagne. Pinot Noir dominates there. This cuvée contains 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay. Gaston Collard works biodynamically.
No sugar is added to the champagne during disgorgement and it only has a low residual sugar content from the bottle ageing of at least 15 months, which is usually 24 months at Gaston Collard.
Dosage Zéro displays a whole host of citrus aromas of grapefruit and lime, with present, slightly ripe yellow fruit and an animating minerality on the palate.
Ideal for a summer aperitif! Dosage Zéro is an excellent accompaniment to tapas, dried tomatoes and olive tapenades.
And it is the perfect accompaniment to oysters or a seafood platter on festive occasions.
