More information about Iron Maiden Trooper Progressive Lager
After years of working with the British brewery Robinson's, the band Iron Maiden is expanding its repertoire of beers to accompany its music with an additional collaboration. In order to meet the tastes of German fans to the letter and conquer a new market, the band is now also teaming up with the brewery CREW Republic.
One phone call was to change Mario and Timm's lives forever: After Iron Maiden's management contacted the brewery by phone and clarified the initial basic conditions, music legend Bruce Dickinson himself was already on the mat. The lead singer of the metal band accompanied the brewers during the development process and did not miss the opportunity to be there live during bottling. Inspired by the band's melodic sounds and fierce lyrics, CREW Republic created a beer that, in Bruce Dickinson's words, is dangerously drinkable and edgy at the same time.
The brew brings a pleasant 5.0% alcohol content into the glass and presents itself in honey gold with a firm, ivory-colored head. A hoppy nose introduces the enjoyment, the first sip continues with a fresh bouquet. Delicate citrus notes meet intense hops and a crisp bitterness on the palate. Gentle malt underpins the interplay of aromas, but remains discreetly in the background in this so-called Progressive Lager.
