The basis for CARLS SINGLE MALT WHISKY is provided by organic barley grown in the surrounding fields of the Harz foreland and special malt recipes. The mash matures under controlled conditions and the fine distillate is produced in our distillery using a small-batch process. CARLS SINGLE MALT WHISKY is aged in traditional oak barrels for several years to give it its bright amber color. True to its origins, our Carls Single Malt presents itself with lasting aromatic notes of grain and fruit, a mild spiciness with a hint of honey, chocolate, vanilla and caramel. On the palate, it develops a mild spiciness and retains the fruit, vanilla and caramel flavors in the finish. CARLS WHISKY has won international awards.
