More information about Domaine Coquillade Elyo Rosé AOP Luberon 2023
Domaine Coquillade is a project close to the heart of a very successful Swiss entrepreneur who acquired the vineyard and an associated estate in the Luberon in 2006 and developed it into a luxury hotel with Provençal charm. When it comes to wine, Frank John, a winemaker and wine consultant from the Palatinate, is helping the domaine to develop into a biodynamic winery.
The Elyo rosé 2023 is certified as a wine from organic cultivation. The cuvée is made from 88.5% Grenache and 11.5% Syrah grapes.
In the glass, the Elyo rosé is a light purple with salmon-colored reflections. The nose reveals delicate aromas of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, combined with exotic pineapple fruit and the fine spice of subtle rosemary and black olives. In the mouth, the well-integrated freshness and fruit underline the quality and balance of this wine. Its creamy texture with fine aromas makes it a wonderful aperitif rosé and an excellent accompaniment to food.
Two noses for wine brings to mind a Provençal lemon chicken with rosemary potatoes.
