Fruity sugar cane molasses from Nicaragua, mashed and distilled by Nordik in Germany. Stored for 30 months in freshly emptied red wine barrels behind the dyke on the Elbe.
The Elbstrom Rum gets its golden/red color from the slow barrel storage in freshly emptied red wine barrels. It has an intense mild taste, a hint of sea breeze and a typical fruitiness. This is where the exotic, fruity aromas of the South Seas meet North German serenity. A perfect combination.
