More information about Hyperactive
The bright colors in which this beer is dressed are a perfect match for the title: Espigas Hyperactive is a juicy Triple Dry Hopped IPA that contains a whole truckload of hops.
The beer is brewed with the two hop varieties Willamette and Citra, with a special hop kick provided by dry hopping with Willamette and the Cryo versions of Citra and Simcoe. The result is a hop-driven masterpiece that combines all the advantages of a good IPA.
Hyperactive is already visually appealing: the beer pours into the glass in a pale golden color and forms an airy crown of snow-white foam, which contrasts perfectly with the slightly cloudy body. On the nose, the TDH IPA is multi-layered. A hint of oven-fresh cookies meets ripe peach, juicy orange, some mango and a spicy resin note. The first sip is citrus-fresh: notes of grapefruit, kumquat and mandarin combine to create a tangy mixture that harmonizes perfectly with the aroma of peach, mango and orange. The malt provides bready notes and a beautiful texture. Gradually, further hop nuances join in and envelop the palate with notes of freshly mown grass and herbs. Some yeast and a soft bitterness skilfully round off the interplay of aromas.
