More information about Pink berries pink pepper whole
Pink berries are also called red pepper, but botanically they are not related to pepper. They grow on Brazilian pepper trees and are sometimes referred to as schinus fruit. Unlike pepper, the pink berries are not spicy. Nevertheless, they are very popular in this country thanks to their full-bodied, slightly sweet taste and versatility. Just like salt and pepper, the dried berries add the finishing touch to many dishes. They go very well with fish, seafood, poultry, game and meat. But they also go well with vegetables and in light sauces.
