More information about Gräg
May we introduce you to Gräg? Gräg is a handsome fellow that surprises with its character and astonishing elegance
The strong Sour IPA from Flügge has a decent 7.4% alcohol content and is no ordinary India Pale Ale Unlike its conventional counterparts, Gräg is fermented with Kveik yeast from Norway and also contains lactic acid bacteria in addition to this special ingredient. The latter give the beer its fine, creamy consistency and also provide an elegant acidity The Chinook and Citra hop varieties are responsible for the summery taste, The green gold conjures up a bouquet of juicy fruit in the beer and makes Gräg an absolute summer hit
Gräg presents itself in a shimmering copper amber color in the glass and carries a small crown of dense, firm foam on the naturally cloudy body A finely tart aroma of passion fruit rises to the nose and makes you eager for the first sip This reveals an amazingly light and elegant beer that cleverly turns its 7,4 % alcohol content cleverly wraps itself in manifold layers of heavenly flavor A hint of sun-ripened grain lies velvety-soft on the tongue before a tidal wave of passion fruit, grapefruit and other citrus fruits takes over Gräg is juicy and fruity, pleasantly bitter, subtly sweet and refreshingly sour
