Gin producers like to tell fairy tales. They call it storytelling in the sales brochures, which you never get to see.

That's actually what we like to do, tell fairy tales. Just not when it comes to gin.

So, unfortunately, there's no fairy tale about an old recipe we found in a box from the last century in Grandpa Montgomery's attic. Or that the inspiration for this gin came to us while climbing the Himalayas. Or that we found a dusty copper still in an old farmhouse shed.

We just sat together at the bar, drinking boring gin and said: we could do this better. And then we just did it.
