Mezcal is an extraordinary and mystical drink that virtually fell from the sky when lightning touched an agave thousands of years ago. The gods guarded their ancient and magical recipe, hiding the extraordinary charm of this heavenly drink from mortals. Hundreds of years had to pass before the recipe was discovered and adopted in different parts of Mexico. Rodolfo Ortíz, native of the town of Ejutla de Crespo, used the technique of mezcal production of that time around 1890, applying it to different types of agave typical of the area.

We use the same tradition as Rodolfo Ortíz, which has been forgotten over time, and have been working for 12 years to establish it further. Because we are convinced that the time-honored procedures and traditions brings the best mezcal experience we have tasted in a long time.
