More information about Gin "Tassi Special"
Tassi Special is a floral, delicately fruity dry gin made with one of the most expensive peppers in the world. The aromas of Tasmanian mountain pepper, the less dominant juniper, cocoa beans and floral botanicals such as rose, mallow and pomegranate blossom make this gin unique in its taste - a truly unique and good gin that is best enjoyed neat.
Aroma:
Mild alcohol, fine and round with floral and flowery aromas, intensely peppery with cocoa in the background
Ingredients:
18 botanicals, floral botanicals such as rose, mallow, pomegranate blossom, fine spices and, as the main ingredient, one of the most expensive peppers in the world - Tasmanian mountain pepper
Processing:
Botanicals are macerated in a gentle cold extract with carefully distilled neutral alcohol. The macerate is given plenty of time. The solid components are then separated from the liquid ones. The macerate is then placed in the still; fresh botanicals are also added to the aroma basket during distillation.
Production:
Gentle distillation, with additional botanicals in the aroma basket during distillation
