More information about Riesling Ried Schneiderberg Winery Gmeinböck
An animating interplay of aromas of apricot and lychee meet nashi pear and a hint of lime and saline. The finish reveals further notes of tropical fruit and a hint of tarragon.
The Schneiderberg vineyard site stands on clay, marl and sand deposits that are around 15 million years old. It is increasingly covered by loess, and the steep south-western exposure produces a fine minerality. The name comes from the comparison of the small plots within the vineyard with small pieces of fabric, the so-called "Schneiderfleckerl".
