More information about Grandma Franziska's winter plum liqueur
It's time again for a trip down memory lane. A trip to my grandmother and the pre-Christmas days. The house was full of scents and smells.
Her legendary jams in particular remain in my memory to this day. One of her favorite fruits was the plum - no doubt because we used to own orchards.
Her winter plum jam with selected spices was the perfect accompaniment to a good piece of farmhouse bread with butter.
...and it is precisely the taste of this jam that I have tried to bring into my own liqueur.
