"Dresden's charm and Saxony's soul" can be found in every bottle of Hellinger 42. Whiskies distilled according to the Scottish model and finished with Saxon perfection are created in the Dresden Whisky Manufactory. These single malt whiskies reflect the soul of Saxony with their unmistakable character and taste. Martin Brambach, known as a crime scene inspector, actor, author and connoisseur, regularly inspects the progress of production and is impressed by the outstanding quality of these Saxon whiskies.
The maturation in American bourbon casks gives this whisky its golden color and round taste.
The aroma of bright, fragrant fruit, especially apple and peach, unfolds on the nose. Vanilla notes mingle with honey and a light malt note, accompanied by a hint of cask-matured white wine.
On the palate, the first impression is mild with a harmonious mouthfeel. The spiciness builds, with vanilla in the foreground. Peach, spices and a hint of coconut are also present. Toffee and colorful pepper are added later.
The finish is harmonious but short, with notes of vanilla, wood and toffee.
