More information about Hessian Whisky
Just like the Eintracht Frankfurt soccer club, this Hessian whisky is a true Hessian original. The traditional distillery has existed since 1895 and is still run as a family business today. Since the turn of the millennium, whisky has been distilled in beautiful northern Hesse with great love and attention to detail.
Just like the Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt, diversity is also important when it comes to whisky. The whisky is made partly from barley malt and partly from rye malt. After the different types of malt have been mashed, distilled and stored for at least 3 years, the whisky is then brought to drinking strength. At 42% alcohol by volume, the Hessian whisky has a medium alcohol strength.
This blend gives this whisky its smooth and balanced taste. The color of this malt whisky is a light copper.
The malt whisky is bottled in a 500 ml glass bottle with a wooden cork. The label is a natural fiber label and its look is reminiscent of a bygone era of saloons and the Wild West. The front is adorned with a rustic version of the official Eintracht Frankfurt logo - the red Eintracht eagle. The neck of the bottle is decorated with a reminiscence of the stadium culture of times gone by: An admission ribbon with a black seal. Printed in the club's colors in black and white, just like the scarves in the stadium, which can be seen by thousands of fans of the soccer league club in the stadium. Behind it, the skyline of the city of Frankfurt can be seen in silhouette.
Naturally, each bottle is provided with the official hologram license logo of Eintracht Frankfurt.
Whisky connoisseurs and aficionados agree: a good whisky is drunk at room temperature. Ideally, it should be enjoyed at 18-22 degrees, as this allows the aromas to develop perfectly. Some like a few drops of water, e.g. from a pipette. Most people prefer whisky tumblers, such as the Eintracht Frankfurt whisky glass, but nosing glasses are also becoming increasingly popular. The bulbous shape of these glasses allows the aromas to develop particularly well and rise to the nose like in a fireplace.
Even if the addition of ice cubes or even Coca Cola is generally frowned upon, our credo is clear: the main thing is that it tastes good and our Eintracht team from Frankfurt wins the next game. With this in mind: Cheers!
