We have reissued the Hessian drink specialty, sweeter and fruitier than the original. Instead of the usual French Calvados, we use an apple brandy from Hesse. This is produced as a cuvée from different apple varieties and stored in barrels for a year. To counteract the usually strong alcoholic taste of Mispelchen, we refine our golden Mispelchen with an apple liqueur. Together with the sweet and fruity medlar juice, this results in a completely new kind of traditional medlar.
