Spirit of Hafencity
A special gin that fits a special place: Hamburg's Hafencity. That was the idea from which our Hafencity Gin was finally born. Its taste should combine tradition and modernity, Speicherstadt and Hafencity, the wholesale fruit market with its exotic fruits and the harbor as home and place of longing. René Wolf, Hafencity resident, art director and connoisseur, developed the finely balanced character of Hafencity Gin in a year and a half. More than 65 different recipes from over 150 self-produced distillates finally led to the perfect composition. Antonio Fabrizi, operator of Club 20457 in Hafencity, was thrilled. Together we, Fabrizi and Wolf founded Spirit of Hafencity and were able to open the first bottle of 20457 Hafencity Gin in the fall of 2017.
