More information about Huppendorf full beer
The full beer from the Grasser brewery is affectionately known by its fans as "Huppi" (more likely pronounced "Hubbi" in Franconia). This nickname is derived from the location of the Huppendorf brewery and has caught on because it is short and to the point. The same applies to the beer with this nickname: The Grasser family's full-bodied beer is a round, extremely drinkable brew that flows extremely well over the lips with a velvety soft mouthfeel.
The Franconian specialty flows into the glass in a warm brown tone and shimmers golden in the light. A slightly tinted crown of firm, dense foam sits enthroned on the clear body and emits an enticing aroma of ripe grain, yeast dough rising in the sun and sweet toffee. The taste follows on its heels and delivers malt, oven-fresh grain bread, honey notes and a delicate bitterness.
Because it is so delicious, the brewery has recently decided to simplify the sharing experience and no longer only sell its Huppi in bottles, but also in practical 5-liter kegs. This more generous format allows you to share the fine drop with your loved ones and also have the pleasure of a freshly tapped beer at home. The keg is perfect for get-togethers and adds a festive touch to any occasion.
