More information about INDIE ROASTERS Organic Natural Ethiopia Filter
This fruity coffee is a special filter coffee roast.
The 100% Ethiopian Arabica grows at an altitude of 2500-3000m in the Nansebo region. Our organic green coffee is produced by small farmers in a country characterized by unrest, corruption and poverty. They are supported by one of our long-standing partners. The aim is to improve the living conditions of the producers involved.
The organic green coffee is imported by us using the direct trade method.
For these Special Editions ORGANIC NATURAL "Espresso Blend" and "Ethiopia Filter", we only use "natural" processed green coffees. In this process, the coffee beans are fermented and dried in the coffee cherries.
This type of processing can be carried out by almost any farmer, as no expensive machines are required and hardly any water is used. This method is one of the most sustainable ways of producing coffee.
Our packaging is now 100% recyclable!
This special edition is a further step towards producing sustainable HAPPY COFFEES that are good for everyone: for the farmers at the origin, for nature and for us coffee lovers!

In their charming roastery in a former gatehouse of a historic factory in Bielefeld Senne, small batches of coffee are produced on the 12 kg sample roaster, coffee labels are glued by hand, green coffee is stored, coffee bags are filled, work is done, phone calls are made and big plans are made. Always with the background of doing and making something that is really good for everyone involved in the process, the farmers in the country of origin, nature and the people here. In the beginning there was the love for really good coffee. Then came the opportunity to import...
