The natural aromas of the fully ripe apple alone give the liqueur its intense flavor.
History:
The popularity of the Holsteiner Cox has been unbroken for almost one hundred years, especially in northern Germany. This is why there are many trees of this variety in many orchards and in home and farm gardens. Before the harvest in October, sunny days and cool nights are ideal for an intense aroma of the fruit.
