Nyborg Distillery was awarded the Danish Whsky Award as "DISTILLERY OF THE YEAR" in 2025.
Isle of Fionia Peated is our smoky version of a delicious Danish organic whisky.
Peated is made from 100% peated smoked malt (35 ppm) and is first matured in Jack Daniels bourbon casks and then partially finished in STR white oak wine casks. The result is a medium smoked whisky with a lovely sweetness, balanced complexity and hints of iodine, licorice and toffee.
Isle of Fionia Peated is bottled with an alcohol content of 48%. This is slightly higher than our other flavors, but we think it's at its best.
Isle of Fionia Peated is made from medium smoked organic malt, which gives it a pleasant but distinctly smoky flavor.
