More information about Kakuzo Yuzu Gin Liqueur
Made by time or always take it easy. More than ten years pass before the first fruits are harvested from a yuzu bush in Japan. During this time, the yuzu develops its full potential. Its complex aroma consists of an elegant acidity, with a gentle sweetness and subtle bitter notes. Once you have tasted it, you will never forget its Far Eastern flavor. It was therefore time to dedicate a gin to this noble citrus fruit.

The Japanese are masters of patience. And you also need patience to make a Kakuzo gin liqueur. There is the ripening time of the yuzu, the thoughtful traditional production of the gin and the careful selection of other flavor components. We opted for the exciting calamansi and the full-bodied mandarin. The sun-yellow gin liqueur is perfectly balanced and well-balanced. It is simply unruffled and tastes best on ice, as a drink or accompanied by a tonic. Breathe in, breathe out, toast.

Kakuzo
Paul and Marc are the driving force behind Kakuzo. Back in their school days, the two friends explored Berlin's bar scene extensively. Years later, after extensive and insightful experiments in their in-house bathtub, the 2017 recipe was so convincing that they decided to share their creation with the general public - KAKUZO was born. In addition to developing the flavor profile, the pair's well-traveled Asia fans helped create a compelling link between the product and its multi-layered world of ideas through the label's visually stunning design. Kitsune, Tengu, Maneki-Neko and the Winkekatze, a dragon and a koi - a tongue-in-cheek homage to Far Eastern myths and their mythical creatures in six levels.
