Butterscotch - Original Caramel Liqueur is a delicious caramel liqueur from Rheinhessen. The butterscotch liqueur is made by hand from 100% natural ingredients by the Kaltenthaler distillery. The caramel liqueur is a real taste sensation. The renowned Kaltenthaler family distillery distils and bottles its butterscotch in Westhofen. This outstanding butterscotch is distributed from there.
This unique and almost masterful liqueur is not only a pleasure highlight on its own, but is also ideal for enhancing drinks, baked goods or ice cream with its outstanding buttery caramel taste.
Try the Butterscotch - Original Caramel Liqueur - 0.5l 20% vol. as a delicious espresso martini.
Pour two parts butterscotch liqueur with one part freshly brewed espresso into a shaker filled with ice cubes. Give the whole thing a good shake. Ideally for thirty seconds so that the ingredients can mix and the drink reaches the right temperature. Then pour the finished drink into a glass using a strainer and serve.

Our distillery is located in the middle of Rheinhessen - in the traditional Westhofen. Founded over 30 years ago, today Felix Georg Kaltenthaler, 3rd generation distiller, leads the fortunes of the distillery. In addition to own brands such as Kernstein, Revolte Rum and Momotaro Spirits, the focus of the distillery Kaltenthaler is primarily on handcrafted spirits, as well as project development in the field of contract production. Our distiller Felix Georg Kaltenthaler learned to love his craft in his youth on his parents' vineyard. As a result, his first own brandies were produced well before his 18th birthday. Today, already in the 3rd generation, the family business of the Kaltenthaler distillery successfully stands for "innovation through living tradition".
