More information about Second Derivative
We have nothing to do with fractions, X-functions and graphs, but this derivative from La Pirata is so tempting that even the biggest math fanatic will be intrigued
We all know derivations from school: they're complicated, tedious and you're constantly miscalculating Second Derivative from Spanish brewery La Pirata is no great help, but it's absolutely delicious Second Derivative was brewed with friends from America: The juicy IPA is a collaboration between La Pirata and the Proclamation Ale Company from Warwick The beer is a tribute to Dave Witham, who founded the brewery in Rhode Island and recently passed away His team and the brewers at La Pirata wanted to dedicate a drink to the great founder and beer lover and decided to use his hands-on, life-affirming nature as inspiration for their beer
The result is Second Derivative, a 6.5% India Pale Ale brewed with Centennial, Sabro and Enigma hops Dave's beer of honour flows into the glass in a wonderfully cloudy sunny yellow and is adorned with an airy head On the nose, the IPA is hoppy and refreshingly fruity The taste follows the olfactory first impression and delights with notes of green hops, citrus and tropical fruits
A heavenly homage!
