Old Mackenstedt grain distillery
Im Jahr 1750 begann Carl Ferdinand Buschmann auf seinem Hof mit einer kleinen Brennblase Roggen in Branntwein zu verwandeln und gründete damit das Familienunternehmen Mackenstedter. Trotz Hindernissen wie Branntweinverboten und wirtschaftlichen Herausforderungen wuchs die Brennerei stetig. Nach den Zerstörungen der Weltkriege konzentrierte sich die Familie ab 1961 vollständig auf die Brennanlage und Kornmanufaktur. Mit norddeutscher Sturheit und Experimentierfreude entwickelte sie aus einem lokalen Traditionsbetrieb eine überregional bekannte Marke, die heute für qualitativ hochwertige Produkte aus der Kornmanufaktur seit 1750 steht.
