More information about Fruity Tornado
Fans of the Maisel & Friends brewery know that the company's brewers like to experiment. The masters of fine beers love to shuffle the cards and put their own unique stamp on down-to-earth beers.
With their Fruity Tornado creation, they've taken on a true classic: wheat. With plenty of hops up their sleeve, the team has given the Bavarian favorite a neat twist and given the creamy banana character a number of exciting playmates.
Fruity Tornado presents itself in a shimmering red-gold hue in the glass and forms a fragrant crown of dense, stable foam. On the nose, the tuned wheat is initially classic: notes of ripe banana, spicy yeast and clove entice the palate.
The first sip, however, reveals that the beer has been peppered with a lot of hops. A cornucopia of tropical fruit notes joins the banana and delivers an exotic hint of coconut in addition to mango, papaya, pineapple and co. Tangy citrus fruits bring summery freshness and a fine acidity to the aroma interplay. The soft basic aroma of the wheat harmonizes wonderfully with the hoppy whirlwind.
Incidentally, this juicy summer hit was penned by the apprentices. Every year, the Maisel & Friends trainees are allowed to brew a joint final beer, which is included in the brewery's range in a limited edition.

Maisel's mission Jeff is not only a passionate brewer, in addition to brewing outstanding beers, he also wants to be a trailblazer for the craft beer movement in Germany. Creative, flavorful beers of excellent craft quality are to become genuine alternatives to industrially produced beers, and Maisel & Friends is to play a significant role in this quest.
