More information about Maisel & Friends Pale Ale
The Maisel and Friends brewery describes its Pale Ale as a "real board of flavors". And rightly so!
Five intensely flavorful hop varieties ensure that the beer is rich in hops. Amarillo is responsible for the range of aromas and the Herkules variety gives the beer its fantastic bitterness. Chinook, Simcoe and Citra also make their contribution and turn the pale ale into a real hop bomb.
The Pale Ale from Maisel & Friends offers the beer connoisseur a unique variety of aromas in both smell and taste. The strong aroma of hops, complemented by citrus and grapefruit flavors, is noticeable as soon as you open the bottle.
In the glass, the Pale Ale impresses with its strong amber color and firm, medium-pored head. The first sip is predominantly citrusy. The lemony freshness is complemented by a fine, malty honey sweetness. Juicy peach and a hint of creamy caramel elegantly complement the interplay of aromas. An unobtrusive bitter note rounds off the finish perfectly. Overall, a harmonious, aromatic veil of fruit and bitterness lingers on the tongue.
After the taste test, we can only confirm the description "real board of aromas". The Pale Ale from Maisel and Friends is definitely an explosion of hops that is neither too bitter nor too sweet. Simply perfect.
