More information about Maisel & Friends West Coast IPA
America's West Coast is known for its long sandy beaches, laid-back lifestyle, numerous surfers and sunny cities. In the beer scene, this part of the United States is primarily associated with the tasty West Coast India Pale Ales. There has been heated competition between the two coasts for decades and it is still not clear who makes the better IPA. While the East Coast brews are characterized by their subtly composed balance between sweet malt and intense hops, the West Coast IPA focuses entirely on the green gold.
Like so many things, this decision is purely a matter of taste.
If you would like to take a closer look at the West Coast candidates, you can start with the interpretation from Maisel & Friends. Although this beer does not originate from the United States, it is based on the creations there. The tropical brew is intended to bring a bit of Californian lifestyle into the glass and achieves this goal with great fruity notes and a skillfully applied bitterness. The flavor profile is made up of golden mango, ripe stone fruit, juicy orange and exotic passion fruit. A hint of pine resin and the aroma of freshly grated lemon zest round off the bouquet harmoniously. The bitterness provides contrast and character.
East Coast, West Coast, no Coast - the main thing is delicious!
