Maisel & Friends Stefan's Indian Ale

Wine sommelier Stefan Sattran is a friend of the brewers at Maisel & Friends and understands the fine art of wine. With his Indian Ale, he proves that he also knows a lot about beer. In collaboration with Maisel & Friends, he has created a beer that delights with its fresh fruitiness, elegant bitterness and playful floral notes. With its tart fruit, infinite lightness and subtle citrus notes, his work is reminiscent of the light-footed variety of aromas of a good wine and comes across as wonderfully balanced. The Indian Ale is neither a hop bomb nor a fruit bomb, but a well-balanced mixture of hop and malt notes.

On opening the bottle, the amber-colored beer exudes a delicious aroma of creamy orange ice cream, delicately roasted nuts, oven-fresh bread, spicy yeast and elegant citrus fruit. All the aromas that you have already heard on the nose are also present on the tongue and combine wonderfully. Bitter notes, fruitiness and caramel sweetness, as well as cereal malt notes lie well on the tongue with a subtle tanginess and 7.3% alcohol content. Stefan's Indian Ale is an excellently balanced blend and impresses with equal parts hops and malt.
