More information about Marten rowan brandy
Rowan berry gives one of the most peculiar fires ever. Contrary to popular belief, it is not poisonous. The fruit, which is mainly known in Austria, is also made into jam and goes very well with game dishes instead of cranberries. In the southern Black Forest, the small berries are still present in large quantities, but almost no one can be found to search for and harvest them. Rowanberry has very earthy, green, pithy notes and is dominated by a strong marzipan hue that comes from the many small seeds in the fruit. On the palate it is very fruity smooth with earthy spicy finesse and a long lasting mild finish. Always highly awarded the last few years, this is a brandy for absolute connoisseurs and lovers.
