The mettermalt® VILLA HASLA whisky is a regional specialty.
For the VILLA HASLA whisky, we received a freshly emptied Lemberger cask from the Weiberle winery in Hohenhaslach, which is a direct neighbor of Sersheim. Fine wheat distillate and barley malt matured in a Lemberger barrel in our 420-year-old vaulted cellar. Together with water from the Sersheim alwa spring, we have thus created a beautiful piece of home. A mild, fruity whisky with a natural barrel color. Naturally bottled by hand and produced with great care. Environmentally friendly production using our own hydropower. The mettermalt VILLA HASLA whisky was awarded silver at the 2021 regional awards.
The mettermalt VILLA HASLA whisky is an unfiltered single cask bottling and has a limited edition of 500 bottles.

At the edge of the Stromberg, surrounded by the Donnersberg, Klosterberg and Kirchberg, the Fessler Mill has stood in Sersheim an der Metter for over 620 years. For many generations, the millers of the Fessler Mill have been involved in agriculture and the cultivation of grain as well as its refinement. Orchard meadows and the cultivation of berries, fruits or special crops such as elderberry have a long tradition. Even the grandfathers had their own fruit processed into fine distillates or produced excellent apple and pear cider in the cellar of the Fessler Mill.
