More information about Miras Crianza Pinot Noir 2016
Our insider tip. Beguiling aroma, reminiscent especially of ripe strawberry. On the palate, flavorful diversity: notes of strawberries, cherries, blackberries, wild roses, marzipan, white pepper, vanilla and leather. Wonderfully integrated tannin, successful balance between maturity and freshness.
The wine was fermented spontaneously, aged 10 months in barriques. The wines from Patagonia are different from those from the rest of the country. Thanks to the cold weather, the acidity in the grapes is high, which provides freshness.
Wind conditions cause the grapes to have thicker skins, which ultimately gives the wines more body. This results in expressive, fresh wines with good structure. The vines of Marcelo Miras are farmed organically, according to Argentine standards.

Our wines are characterized by exactly three instances, which are also the basis of our philosophy: Grape-Man-Wine. First, there are the characteristics of the grapes, which grow naturally and organically in a semi-desert environment, with permanent breezes and winds. Then comes the man, who with his work makes changes in the vineyard and in the winery to produce great wines with appropriate techniques, reflecting in them the freshness of their acidity, their rich fruit aromas. This gives rise to wines of great character that shine with exquisite and balanced aromatic profiles.
