After days of intensive study of medieval writings, William Morris enjoyed a vermouth di Torino - amber-colored, with a hint of wild orange and alpine herbs. The "Distillatore" told him the secret of his vermouth: "We macerate the orange peel at dawn, when the oils flow most freely."

MORRIS "THE ALCHEMIST'S ORANGE" follows this principle: carefully selected Trebbiano wine is refined with wormwood extract, fresh zest from bitter oranges and alpine botanicals, which are harvested at the optimum time and then macerated and distilled in small copper stills. The result is a vermouth that sets new standards with a perfect balance of bitterness and freshness.
