Its power does not lie in its size - but it is precisely the small blackcurrant that is worth creating a distillate from. Because what it does not show as a small round fruit in the hand - the black berry unfolds more than clearly in our minds: its concise, slightly masculine aroma, delicately tart and yet so fruity. It brings back memories of dark red, refreshing cassis. No doubt about it: the "Ribes negrum" - as it is called in Latin - has it all.
