More information about Wahlsche Schnapsbirne
It is small, it shines honey-yellow - and it is covered in "freckles": the Wahlsche Schnapsbirne takes its name from its "discoverer". Erich Wahl found the tree growing by chance on a railroad embankment and distilled a particularly aromatic brandy from the fruit. The special thing about the "Schnapsbirne" is the liaison of the rarely fruity pear flavor with the sugary sweetness of honey - framed by a strong spicy note. This pear is truly special!

Fine fruit brandies and spirits, the finest distillates from regional fruit varieties and international fruit specialties, sorted into individually distilled small batches - all this is created at mühle4, the manufactory for fine brandies on the Lower Rhine. Craft tradition, genuine expertise and a lot of love for the product - that is the recipe from which the various distillates are made - far away from industrial mass production and manufacturing. Only selected fruit is used, harvested fully ripe and sorted and cleaned by hand. This is how unique brandies are created - characterized by an unadulterated, fruit-pure and regionally typical aroma.
