We have been an independent family business for over a century and a half. Since Franciscus Marius Niepoort founded the company in 1842, five generations have taken turns at the helm, and two generations have almost always worked side by side for a few years to ensure a smooth transition. Currently, we are looking forward to the upcoming sixth generation and to close cooperation also in the future. The focus of our family business is the winery.

The Fabulous Collection

After creating the first wine in the Fabelhaft family in 2002, called Fabelhaft, Dirk Niepoort insisted on having a local artist design a unique and original label for each market, telling a story that illustrates the values and characteristics of each country and their relationship with wine. The wines symbolize joie de vivre, good food, good friends, the sweet life. Meanwhile, our Fabulous collection also includes a gin.
